Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I love reading your comments, and hope that you will come back again! The tea kettle is always bubbling perfectly, the cookies freshly baked, and the door is always open!
I am perpetually in my 30's, and live in a middle class Victorian home with my darling hubby & our kitty-cats. Our children are grown, and we have 5 grandchildren.
We are very slowly working on restoring our home, along with getting rid of turf grass, and establishing a wildlife garden, when the weather co-operates.
I love to go antiquing, with needlework shops, book stores & art & craft supply stores also being among my favorite haunts.
Baking, reading cozy mysteries & watching old movies are some of my favorite pasttimes, along with needlework and other crafting.
Autumn is my absolute, most favorite, but all too brief, season, and I love decorating for Halloween, using either vintage, or replicated vintage paper or paper mache decorations. I also love decorating for the Yuletide season too! What fun!!
"I put down my book, The Meaning of Zen, and see the cat smiling into her fur as she delicately combs it with her rough pink tongue. Cat, I would lend you this book to study but it appears you have already read it. She looks up and gives me her full gaze. Don't be ridiculous, she purrs, I wrote it. - from "Miao" by Dilys Laing .
